Asian-Mediterranean Rice with Halloumi and Kimchi
vxdaAn unusual fusion lunch combining creamy halloumi with spicy kimchi over aromatic rice. A flavor combination that will surprise your palate!

Ingredients
- 300 g jasmine rice
- 200 g halloumi
- 150 g kimchi
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 pcs garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame
- 3 pcs chives
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 tsp salt

Rinse rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Cook in salted water according to package instructions.

Cut halloumi into 1.5 cm cubes. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the cheese until golden on all sides.

Finely chop the garlic. In the same pan, sauté the garlic for one minute until it becomes golden.

Add the cooked rice to the pan along with kimchi and its juice, soy sauce, and stir for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.

Season with pepper, add the fried halloumi and gently mix. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives before serving.
