Ingredients

  • 400 g pork neck
  • 30 g dried shiitake mushrooms
  • 12 pcs rice paper
  • 1 pcs carrot
  • 200 g Chinese cabbage
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 pcs garlic
  • 500 ml frying oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions

    Soak shiitake mushrooms in warm water for 15 minutes, then cut into thin strips.

    Cut pork into very thin strips, season with salt, pepper and soy sauce.

    Cut carrot and Chinese cabbage into thin strips.

    Heat sesame oil in a pan, fry pork for 3 minutes.

    Add mushrooms, carrot and cabbage, fry for 2 minutes. Season with ginger and garlic.

    Cool the filling completely.

    Place a portion of filling on each rice paper sheet, wrap tightly into a roll.

    Heat oil to 180°C in a deep pan.

    Fry spring rolls in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

    Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce.
