Ingredients

  • 400 g penne pasta
  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 300 g broccoli
  • 400 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g parmesan cheese
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 pcs onion
  • 3 pcs clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 tbsp basil

Instructions

    Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.

    Cut the chicken into strips, season with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the chicken over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until browned.

    Add the chopped onion to the chicken and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

    Add the garlic and sauté for a minute, then pour in the cream and add the butter.

    Stir in the Parmesan cheese, mix, and simmer over low heat for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

    Meanwhile, steam the broccoli for 4-5 minutes until tender.

    Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce, mix gently.

    Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
